Replaced battery, solenoid, ignition switch, carb, starter, battery cables, air filter, spark plug and wire. Will start when jumpered from battery but not by key switch.

just keep replacing parts without diagnosing the problem and just maybe you will find the problem??? What you have spent on parts you could of bought a wiring diagram and volt meter. Get yourself a wiring diagram and use it like a road map and follow each electric circuit with a voltage meter till you find the problem. Harbor freight are giving away free milti-meters for free right now. I have been doing this type of work for years and that is the way I have to diagnose most hard to find electrical problems.

It is a big problem with NoName brand mowers
In particular the NoModelNumber series which were prone to random poorley explained problems thought to be cause by lack of smoke in the wiring.
The ones fitted with the Unidentified brand engines are the worse and in particular the SansSerialNumber engine family which was made for 2000 years in 6,000,000 variations.
Thus it is oimpossible to tell owners exactly where the Gremlin release plug is fitted and weather it is a left or right hand thread or the cunning & confusing bayonette fitting.
