No spark on craftsman lt1000

I have a craftsman lt1000 that just quit when it was running. I lost spark if I unplug the harness on the righ side of the the mower I regain spark but it still won't start. Any insight to help me?

Leave the harness alone then. Why are you messing with it?

Open that harness connector back up. Look at the connections with readers on. Make sure the pins are clean, straight and fit tight together. Reconnect it.

Test for spark with the spark plug out.

Did it die like you turned the key off?

when you unhooked the wiring harness you disconnected the fuel shut off solenoid so it is not gerring fuel to the cylinder.
