New to the forum...looking for info on John Deere STX 30

Just new to the forum. I've owned a Deere for several years and just bought an old STX 30 yesterday. Not too pretty, but runs like a champ. I need to replace the brake pad. Anyone know if there's any hidden gotcha's. Just looks like I remove the 2 3/8" bolts from the pad housing and replace the pad. Is that correct. (I'm a pretty good shade tree mechanic, not a novice.)
