I live on 30 acres, with the house on 4 that I mow. Lots of mowing in the spring, and some in the summer, fall and winter (Texas). I had a local kid mowing, but he has quit, so I need a mower. It will be used for the 4 acres, plus working my pasture fencelines, alleyways, and occasional pasture weed work. Half of the 30 is for hay, the other will get occasional use. I'm looking at 48 and larger.
My local guys have Scag, Hustler, Deere, Bad Boy,and Gravely. BAd Boy, Deere, and Kubota are out on price.
Any thoughts on what might fit my needs? I also have a lead on a used 48" Scag Tiger, 175 hours at $4900.
Would appreciate any advice
