hi, new to group. have a country home in pa ny border. need to get a garden tractor have about two to three acres to mow and would like to pull some things any suggestions. preferably used due to $ . thanks

You aren't giving any $s as to what you want to spend. I would say look at what Sears has to offer.

What are one of the top mowers you see the most of? Craftsman.

For $1000 it does not matter what new mower you get they will all be the same.

Even buying a used mower to cut 3 acres and to pull a cart your not going to get anything that will last.
I would look at getting a used MTD garden tractor with the high low range transmission.
What ever brand you go with I would get a garden tractor.

Craftsman makes some good lawn or garden tractors.
