Or just try the aftermarket replacement for the 693480 carburetor. 693480 is the four screw fuel pump replacement the three screw fuel pump carburetor.

What is usually do is buy one of those aftermarket carbs and use those new parts to rebuild the old one. Don't use the aftermarket carb shell! They don't make them to the quality standards of the old ones!

You can get just the 4 screw or 3 screw pump only kit by itself if needed.
Here is a link to se3veral on fleece bay. Seen a used one for $20 free ship and 30 day returns. Them carbs usually re-build user friendly.
Quite often if one has been running smooth and then starts idling rough just remove the bowl drain plug and re-install and get a good run.
The more user friendly ones have a idle adjustment jet.
