Murray 15.5 42 inch deck

my Murray tractor has a 15.5 tech. Motor I got it from Craig’s list a few years ago the spindle assembly in the deck went bad. And the deck and tractor model numbers have all been wore off. I removed the spindle shafts to replace them seeing the bearings where bad and my wife tossed them. Is there a way to measure to get the contract size? Of jack shaft

Search ebay: "Murray Spindle" or "Murray Jackshaft". One of the ads will have specs.

Murray only used 3 or 4 different designs of spindles and from memory only one variation of each .
Go to an after market parts catalogue ( Stens, Rotary, Prime Line or Oregon ) & use the searches that Dougand3 mentioned above .
