I have a mid 90s Murray that sat for an unknown amount of time. Other than needing new spindles/bearing and tires, it’s in pretty good shape for its age. The model number tag can’t be read. If anyone can help with a wiring diagram that would be great. This is the only picture I have st the moment. I will take more after work if needed.
It will crank and run if I jump the new solenoid with a screwdriver, and the solenoid does work if I add 12v to one control and ground the other. I verified that all safety switches are working, all wires have continuity where they should. My problem is I don’t have 12v at the ignition switch. The red wire with an inline fuse running straight front the solenoid to the ignition switch has no voltage. I really don’t understand where the low current 12v should come from, unless the solenoid should do that and I have the wrong one.

Do you have the red wire from the solenoid with the fuse on the same large lug as the positive wire from the battery.

No but I did try that and blew the 15A fuse. I had the ignition disconnected at the time for safety.

Then something is wired wrong. Post the actual model of the Murray.

Well you are sol in a way then

There is a wiring diagram for a 1997 42560X92A. It assumes you have a dual stator.
