Starting Fluid first, with Choke OFF.

If you have fuel, compression and spark try using a can of starting fluid. If it starts and runs give it a couple more shots of starting fluid. If it continues to run more than likely main jet in carburetor is clogged up.

running for only 40 seconds in the cold can foul plug, besides leaving it wet.
on a different note, no start at times.....
kill knob burnt through shorting intermittently!!

take the carb apart and clean the needle valve, seat and all jets. clean any gunk out of the bowl. put it back on and fire it up. don't burn ethanol fuel.

I doubt this guys around any more, as he hasn’t posted any replys. Just another “I need a quick fix and gone guy”. Probably had bad stomach and ethanol gas, problem resolved.
