MTD 11A-B16M029

i was given a MTD 11A-B16M029 push mower with a Briggs & Stratton motor 126T02-0675-B2 engine. It will start and instantly die. I pulled off the cover and am missing what looks like at least one if not two springs. Can someone send me a picture or link of the engine with out the cover. I am including a couple of pictures to show you all what I am looking at.

I think you sent the wrong photos.
If there are springs missing fromthe carb you need to sent the photos of the carb and the carb linkages

By looking at the pics you posted, I don't see a throttle control spring or a auto choke return spring.
