After using for awhile, turned mower off and came back later . mower won't start. leave for a day and then will start. Help !!! I am not mechanically inclined !!!: Checked battery, all connections, safety swicthes.

Have similar to the same problem. Have a '97 C- Riding mower that I gave to my daughter..new battery in Jan. and I only used once...ran fine. She mowed with it a whole day, the next day it wouldn't run. I jumped it off. she rode it the rest of the day until she attempted to go up a small incline and it died..won't even jump off now..no click even. battery had spark now it has none. This was not my lawnmower until someone gave it to me last November, so I have no idea what it's running history is other than " it runs great" I replaced the battery in Jan. because it wouldn't charge after the winter, though it had a "new" battery when I got it....I need some advice on where to start...getting someone to look at it isn't an option....just us.
