Mower loses power going uphill

I have a Husqvarna CZ48 zero turn. My mower mows great on level ground, but when I try to start up a hill it gets slower and slower uphill so slow it even stops, and then starts to roll backwards. I bought this mower used a few days ago, and just mowed with it, so disappointed I may have bought a lemon.

:welcome:

First check the drive belt
After that you need to check the hydros
But we need the model number to take this any further

I have had this happen a few times on different mowers. Has been the drive belt every time. If it was the drives going out it would pull to one side.

If the engine is losing power, the incline/decline is too great to keep the fluids oil gas and such in a level to work. The engine cannot get gas or just leans or riches out.

There is a sticker on the frame near the engine with the model number. Cz48 is not the real model number. It is more of a description.
