Moles are big problem here. I mainly dislike them because the hills stick up and dull the blades. If you want them to move (maybe to an adjacent weedy lot) try flattening their hills by running over them with the tractor tires. This is not the final solution.

Anyway, I'm in Kitsap County and I've been trapping the little beasts since about 1988. I've been using the scissor type spring traps exclusively. In that time I have a total of 299 KIA's.
I will never run-out of moles as I'm surrounded by woods and pastures and that's where they come from even though I completely wipe-out my resident population every year.
