Model 130292 will not run unless fully choked

My 1998 ish tiller will not run unless fully choked and some gas goes down the throat!
I had the carby cleaned and replaced the gasket on the side of the barrel, needle adjustment makes NO difference ---- has anyone got a cure for me, please?? Best wishes Mike!

I assume this is a Briggs & stratton engine?

As you have just had the carburettor rebuilt , it is likly that the build and or the refitting to the engine, have resulted in the air-fuel mixture being too lean. Most often this is the result an air leak or blocked jet.
The B&S numbers you supplied indicate a fuel tank mounted carburettor - there are a number of areas where incorrect part fitting or a missing component, could result in an air:fuel mixture problem,.
