Microsoft announced about a week ago they will continue windows 10 security updates (but no feature updates past October) until 2028. Looks like maybe they lost too much market share trying to force windows 11. In the same articles they posted they are at 1 billion computers running their OS's, however that is down from 1.4 billion when this began. No one has determined yet what that exactly means.

Actually, Microsoft won’t be stopping official support for Windows 10 today. The end date is October 14, 2025, after which Microsoft will cease security updates, feature updates, and technical assistance for all editions of Windows 10.

I only switch to Win10Pro after running Win7Pro for years. Kinda had to as software vendors gradually stop supporting Win7. I will running Win11Pro on the newer system that I still got to setup but I will still keep the Win10 system in my network.

Go to Linux Lite. If you can run Windoze, LL is a breeze.
