Well bushfire season is here and the fire pumps are all coming in for "service" ( ie they won't start )
So the first one off the bat has the titled engine and no spark.
Tracked it down to the low oil switch
Now this is one I have never seen and simply screws into the extra oil fill hole
Downloaded the B & S IPL which shows a totally different switch # 790141 but that is a bolt in unit with an external module .
Any one familiar with this screw in switch or is it a local only part ?
It is a B & S branded pump fitted with a locally made Davey twin rotor pump .

I have seen a couple of these over the years. You listed the bolt in sensor but there should be a wire that goes from that sensor to 695693 terminal plug which screws into the extra oil fill plug

Just a little more info picture wise that should help clarify things a little.
695693 Terminal Plug
MODULE, Oil Sensor
OK so what I thought was the actual switch is just a connector
What I saw and thought was the sensor is just the 695693 Terminal Plug
Thank you all
The unit had no spark & I was about to take it back to the shop for a magneto check / replacement
As I was loading it I noticed the wire going into the oil fill hole , unplugged it and the unit fired right up.
This is the first B & S powered fire pump I have come across as nearly all of the ones down here are Honda ( or Honda clone ) powered and none have oil switches
Some of the Honda lift / irrigation pumps do have an oil switch but not the fire pumps
