LEAKY Gas Tank

I am wondering if a leaky gas tank would have any affect on a lawnmower not starting?? Or would I have issues with my carburetor??:biggrin:

It would depend on where the leak is. Fuel hose or valve it might not be getting fuel to engine? The tank it's self wouldn't matter other then not being safe. Remove the hose at the carburetor and see if you are getting fuel there. It might help a lot more if we knew what you were working on.
