Lawn Grubs

Does anyone have a good method of getting rid of lawn grubs without having to use a heavy dose of chemicals. Maybe something organic in nature ?

If you don't want to use insecticides, one way to get rid of them is with the use of predetory nematodes which can be added to your lawn area. These are particularly effective at eating up white grubs and would be considered a biological control mechanism.

I hope I don't sound ignorant but I have never heard that term before -- lawn grub. What exactly is a lawn grub supposed to be? Is it some kind of growth, or what? Thank s for educating me.
