I have had this Cub Cadet RZT 50S for close to two years now and it has blown the dipstick out of the tube about half a dozen times. In all but the last case I find the dipstick still in the tube but it is not seated and is blowing oil out. This last case it blew the stick completly out and I just chanced upon it on a successive lap. This time I had oil everywhere including my back. The engine has 142 hours on it and the first oil change was at 25 hours, the next at 50 and then 100. This is in accordance with the owners manual. It starts and runs fine. Occassionally on startup it puts out a cloud of blue smoke. It never uses any oil. Anyone else have this problem or heard of this?

I would say the crankcase vent is plugged. It should come out the right valve cover into a small canister into the air cleaner. You should repair this before you blow out all your engine seals.

Mud pluggers and a few beetles seem to like taking up residence in that tube.

I agree with the crankcase breather being your cause. And I wouldn't operate the engine until you correct it.

and if it has not been overfilled with oil the only other cause would be a broken piston ring allowing compression gasses to pass from combustion chamber to crankcase.
