I have a rear engine rider with a worn out B&S. I also have an 18HP Kohler vertical shaft take off from a Toro front engine tractor. It look like it would be a tight fit but until I get the B&S off I can't be sure. Anyone have any thoughts.
The bolt pattern is fairly well common amongst mower engines.
The deciding factor is the length of the PTO shaft & it's diameter.
Some RER's use the smaller 7/8" shaft from walk behinds.
Othher than that the electrics will not directly connect so you will need to change plugs.
