Hello.
I've got a Scag Tigercub with an FH580V. For starters, i've got fuel, spark, and compression.
Recently I split the crank case in half to redo the seal as the engine was puking oil. Upon reassembly and putting it back together it ran for a solid 2 minutes and quit. I've tore it apart and I've checked my timing. The marks on the crankshaft and camshaft are aligned. I cannot make the engine even start off of starting fluid through the intake. Interestingly enough I can spray starting fluid in the exhaust and it will start, run, and die. Would this indicate my timing is 180 degrees out even though the markings are lined up as every manual I've found online has instructed? Any help would be appreciated.
