Kawasaki FD750D?

I have a 2005 Scag Turf Tiger with a 27 Hp Kawasaki engine. Last week the oil pump gave way and I broke a connector rod. I can not find and ID plate on the engine to order parts and was wondering if someone could help with identifying the engine? I attached a photo of the engine and have plenty more of needed

That’s what I thought also but looks like there is few different varieties of the FD750D.

I think all the internals are the same on the 750 engines.

Some companies like John Deere specify a stronger steel for the crank and perhaps a different cam material but apart from that the internals will be the same as hammer has already noted .
With hoeizonalcrank engines you get a few variations in thecrank depending what the engine is going to be hooked up to but on verticals they areall pretty much the same apart from crankshaft diameters 1" on domestics 1.124" on commercials and even then the oil pumps are the same.

I do have a customer with a 2002 Tuff Tiger that he transplanted a new engine into in 2012/2013 range and it is a FD750D-GS02 which was the replacement for his previous engine. So you can use its specs to compare with the unknown spec FD750D that you have. I do have his old engine spec number but its back in the paper files before 2014 and would take several days of digging to find it as there are 5 yrs of them.

Thanks guys. Looks like I need to replace the crankshaft both pistons and connector rods and everything else to rebuild it. There goes a $1000. Lol
