I am doing the drive belt replacment too (on a JD 160)> Could I somehow get that JD info too? Ron J Thar steering involvement has me puzzled. If you could send m thar JD Service tech manual PDF I would really appreciate it Even just the part involving replace ment of drive belt..really like the mower.

Hi. I am in the same boat. I have the 80's JD160, and it needs a drive belt replacement. I have looked at it and can see that it is not just a quick on-off. If you have a service PDF I would truly appreciate you sharing it. My email is joseph.616@gmail.com.
