JOHN DEERE LA155 MOWER DRIVE BELT NOT STAYING ON

Hi

the mower drive belt on our JOHN DEERE LA155 keeps coming off

the belt seems fine, all the bearings spin free & the idler spring etc is all working OK

we are mowing pretty dense overgrowth on uneven ground so the mower is working hard & bouncing around

any suggestions would be appreciated

The belt has keepers at the front & back to prevent it jumping off which some times actually work.
If the belt has jumped off a few times then the belt will be damaged so you will need to replace it.
Check the belt for damage and if you find some post photos of it .

Usually it will either be some debris stuck in one of the pulleys or a bad pulley bearing that throws the belt.
