Is this worth it
Is this worth it
Is this worth it
Now ask yourself a question, if the blower is in good shape and runs great Why are they selling it. That price is a dumping price, it's not worth it.
Even at that price... you could put 125 dollars into it stuff it might need and still be in good shape
The thing only produces 160MPH Your going to pay $75 for the blower, invest another $125 for a grand total of $200 for a 160mph that may last fro a month. I can buy a blower new for $249 that delivers 153/190 mph with a warranty and last for years, What wrong with this picture <img src="http://www.lawnmowerforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=16066"/>

I really think that it all depends on the sellers situation. I've let a rather expensive pair of speakers go for $20, not because they weren't working (They actually worked great) but I just got into the "selling stuff I don't need and making room" stuff and sold them for that low. I bought them for $20, so I wasn't actually losing anything, but I did beat myself up about it for the next few days. We let a shed, a very sizable shed, go for free, just because it had some rot and was getting to be an eyesore.
We don't need it, and someone else can use it sort of deal, so I'll take what I can get for it. I would just call the guy, and at least just check it out. You can usually tell what type of person they are just by meeting them in person, and then maybe make him an offer. If he has it at $75, maybe offer $45. I usually like to start out with "Well, what's the lowest you'll take for it?" That way you get an idea of what they want out of it, or at least what they have in it.
The thing is a pair of speakers is one thing, a person can look at them and see if they are going to work or not but a blower or that type of equipment is an entirely a different story. Unless you know the person you are buying it from your totally in the dark because they can tell you anything and everything you want to here about that piece of equipment and you don't know whether there being truthful or not and you don't know what you're buying and how hard it has been used or misused.
