I have that exact same engine on my pushmower, i can look it at and see what works.
Thanks my biggest socket is 3/4. Going to the store tomorrow to get a 15/16My 15/16" socket fit right on perfect.. you may need a short extension on your wrench or a deep well 15/16"
I would buy or borrow a socket. I have tried “cheap” ways many times and it ends up costing me more for things they have broken ?It's really just that I have to use a wrench vertically and going down with it because the bolt is in circular cup and that's in the way of getting in there the way you are supposed to do it (horizontally). Not sure if you can get enough leverage doing that.
Old timers would walk the yard prior to mowing. Pickup any limbs and bicycles left in the grass. Unless you like changing flywheel keys, I'd recommend a good walk through. Only takes a minute of your facebook, twitter, viral video life wasting time.I hit something and need to put a new flywheel key in. I just need to take it off.
I borrowed a 15/16 socket from a friend who also had a ratchet big enough. Not having any luck trying to actually remove the flywheel with just by hammering and no puller.Any luck?
Will just using a wrench as a pry bar work? That's what I have been doing. Does it need a lot of force to come off?
