Great input from all!! I have been to 6 ZTR mower dealers with 25 miles of my home...talking to each about their input...and I am very surprised that NONE of them asked for name/number to follow up on the sales opportunity. Only 1 called me back after I called each dealer to ask for a price on an option I requested. I am in sales for a lving and was diappointed by the lack of effort.
With that said, I also want to throw out that in 5-10 yrs there is a good chance we'll down size to 1.5 acres. But, I nopw am leaning to the Kubota....input via the forum, a friend in the golf course maintenance business, and the sales/service dealer's proximity to my home are the main reasons for my leaning.

I can go $6000 roughly

My personal recommendation would be to look at a Gravely Pro-Turn and a Toro Z-Master 2000 series and then compare those to others you look at in regard to build, components, warranties and price.

Well, the Bama Boy is a winner. After all comparison of features wanted, price restriction, and future service/warranty.....the winner is the Kubota 127S!! Have only been on it once, and it so much more comfortable than the JD G110. I cut my mowing time by 25% already (from 4 hrs. to 3 hrs) that includes reduced time of push mowing. I am actually looking forward to the mowing!! Thanx for all the input provided, it's the whole reason I joined!!

Congratulations on your new ZTR!!! When you've got time take and post some pictures(we wanna see your new big boy toy:0)

Did they still have the $500 introductory discount? Definitely a good deal at approx. $5800, but I'd get a little hesitant at $6,300. IMHO, if Kubota wants to stay competitive with this new Residential ZTR line they need to keep the Introductory price as the regular price.

After researching the stew out of zero turn mowers I went with the Kubota Kommander 127S. I looked at all other brands and kept coming back to the kubota. 4year 300 hr warranty that encludes the engine and built like a tank with no extra baggage (ok suspension seat and LED lights). Mow about 2.5-3acreas with it (sloped with terraces), coming from a tractor and finishing mower. Did it speed up my mowing time NO! because my son and I were fighting over who was going to cut what. Cut is excellent and fast. Havent cut with any of the others so I cannot comment, take all the advise here and choose what you will be happy with. Priced at $5749.00 plus tax.

I have been researching a new ZTR also, and I am leaning towards the Kubota. What engine options did you have Would rather have a Kawasaki than the kohler. Any concerns so far?
Any problems with the depth selector?

I really don't think you will be sorry with your purchase..I have one also with a 54" deck. Gosh I love the thing, has a GREAT cut and PLENTY of power with the Kohler 27hp.

Another thing...it saves me a lot of time. Mows great at full speed.

You might go over to the Kubota specific page. A few of us have listed a couple things that you might find interesting like...if you decide to keep ROPS bar on.

Stay safe and keep us up to date...

Have you noticed anything about your kubota now that you have had it a little while? I am looking at the same mower. Narrowed it down to a Husqvarna M ZT 52 or the ZG 127S. Your thoughts?

I can get the Huskie for $4900 vs $5749 is it worth the difference in your opinion

Thanks

You can buy a Kubota for 0 down and 0 interest. You can even get it insured through Kubota and pay it monthly through your payment. It is the best deal out there if you are going to keep it for the long haul and if you are going to run it hard. Nothing is tougher than a Kubota.

Your financing is right I just had a friend get one 0% for 5 years he got a zero turn from them when I go back home I really can't wait to try it out  he got it for 5500 (originally 6000) but then he up graded the seats an head light kits put him right at 6000 total an it look like a tank
