A bad pto switch will not let the motor crank, just sayin.

Wire ends do break inside pto harness plug! Look closely and maybe you will see half the gold wire end missing.

A bad pto switch can be the problem or a broken wire end inside the pto switch harness. Look closely at each gold color wire end foe a 1/2 missing tab.

He's a retired Sears tech from what he says. That means replace everything first and diagnose second. LOL
When he discovers it was something stupid simple, he does not share his findings due to embarrassment or foolish pride.
First time poster here searching for instant answers and when he does not get an answer for free in 10 minutes or less, he jumps to multiple other sites.

I just repaired an Exmark ZTR here where some tech simply gave up and hot wired the cooling fan via a toggle switch.
The system was already setup with relay system so all I had to do is to find why that system failed once I found the correct schematic. The problem is one that gets a lot of techs. A bad ground. Then was removing the rig work. Now it operates as intended so the customer won't forget to turn on the cooling fan or leave it on running the battery. Even found that the hour meter wasn't working due the same bad ground.
