Hmm, can aslo get the 200XT with a Kawi fx801, they just don't have one in at the moment. What is the difference in 801 and 850? They appear to be same displacement but 850 shows higher HP rating at 27hp to the 801's 25 hp. Is that the only difference? The price is same on the 200 XT with Vanguard or Kawi.

Hi Sonders,
In the Kawasaki FX 651, 691 and 730, the only difference is the carbs, I suspect that the same applies to the FX 801 and 850 engines.

Just to update, I ended up going with the X-One. It was the one I had originally planned to buy before looking at the Snapper so went with my first instinct. Plus the fact it has better warranty and the simplicity of it is nice. I did have a bit of buyers remorse, but I'm getting over it. I've mowed for a few weeks with it now and it is nice and smooth. The cut quality of my old Turf Tiger isn't there, but I'm not trying to win any lawn maintenance awards.

The X-One is a great mower. As I said before, you couldn't have gotten it wrong either way. Congratulations on getting your new toy!
