Hustler Fastrack will not start

Hello all,

My Fastrack mower started off by not wanting to turnover unless I turned the key "on/off" several times. This grew longer and longer until it would not start at all. I replaced the switch thinking the problem was there. Nope. I can start it by jumping the starter solenoid, with the key in the on position. I have checked the switches for the arms and the seat. I have also replaced the starter solenoid and it still won't start by the key.

Any thought??

Having the same problem. Replaced solenoid and switch. Where is the starter relays located? checked all safety switches and they work.

Puzzling????

Could you (or someone ) be more specific as to what exactly is the "starter relay kit" ?

Is it something that can only be a direct purchase from Hustler Corp.?.....authorize dealer?....etc.

Any info about the kit from Hustler Corp such as a "manual change" or "manual revision"....etc.

What does the kit consist of?

What is the cost?

Don't care how old the thread is, just want info as to exactly what that individual was describing.

As far as having a problem, well it's not a really a major problem, just happen to me once and hasn't happened again. Still though I like to keep informed about all possibilities on "any problem" associated with a Hustler mower.

And yes, I've since searched the internet specifically about a "starter relay kit" for more info.
