Husqvarna YTH24V54 seems to have electrical issues

It won't start; it clicks.

So I checked the solenoid; the test I did showed it didn't work, so I bought another. Put it on it; it worked.
I check the solenoid by touching the bolts with a hot wire and the starter turned over.

Went out to mow this morning, and it's back to not wanting to start. The battery checks full charges; the battery
is maybe a year old. I'm always having to charge the battery on this mower. I changed the solenoid during that
same time, and I also changed the starter. It seems, basically, that it is the same thing over and over. This lawn
mower is around four years old, and I have changed the solenoid 2 or 3 times and the starter once or maybe twice.

So can someone help me? I can't afford to take this to a repair shop, but I can't afford not to.

Maybe it is a safety switch.

IF it clicks, it is not a safety switch, there is a corroded battery or switch connector, or the battery needs to be removed and properly load tested. Not enough Amperage is getting to where in need to be.

Check the main power fuse holder for corrosion or spread pins.

A voltmeter is handy if you have one, but it does not load test anything, it just reads potential of voltage.

Chickanic has a good You Tube video about how to test electrical circuits on mowers.

Basically, you need a good voltmeter DVOM), a test light with a good bulb and a cheap battery load tester. This investment will be far cheaper that constantly throwing parts at this machine.

Sounds like a charging system problem
