I need a OEM Husqvarna hydraulic filter part, 522805401 25 micron filter. Husqvarna is on backorder until pigs fly apparently. Does anyone have this filter on the shelf? Thanks.

Try looking up filter on oil filter cross reference sites online. There are normally several good substitute filters that will work.

Don't have or needed the filter here but if it a 1 inch-12 threaded mounting hole you could check the Lenz CP-752-30 filter at Tractor Supply provide there enough clearance for it.

Found I can the 522805401 has been on back order for over a year now. Husqvarna in general is getting to where things are on back order a lot. Just got a seat after it was on order for nearly 3 months.

I also need the filter and they say on backorder until mid May, but sheesh on back order over a year? Did you find an alternative filter?

This is a common economic problem that was well learned/ exploited with COVID. Everything is on "back-order". Demand goes up and so does the prices. It is an age-old marketing scheme that evolves around making as much money as possible off of every product sold right down to the smallest nut and bolt.

Most filters are readily available from wherever the unit was purchased due to pre-set parts supply contracts for them to carry the machines. No guarantee the prices are not also higher, but they should have them by the case full.

Retailers like Tractor Supply and Home Depot are common service part places. NAPA may also be able to get them at a decent price. Husqvarna does not make the filters, they are a "private label" product. WIX, STP and a couple of others make most of the filters in the automotive and small engine industry.
