Husqvarna chainsaws also have a small metal plate stamped with the model number, part number, and serial number. The plate is typically located in one of four locations.
1.) Above the oil fill cap.
2.) Below the oil fill cap.
3.) Under the wrap handle on the clutch side.
4.) In front of the clutch at the bottom, below the bar nuts.
On the plate, the top number is the model number, the second is the part number, and the bottom number is the serial number. For example:
Model Number: 455
Part Number: 965030298
Serial Number: 091000001

You can fir any size chain & any bar length you like
From new it was supplied with bars from 13 " to 24"
And chain pitch from ,325 to std 3/8
The thinner chain will require less power to cut and be a lot lighter
All that is required is you get a drive sprocket in the same pitch as the chain
And a chain in the same gauge as the bar
And the bar has the right end for the saw
But before you do anything pull the muffler off and have a good look at the cylinder & piston.
Oregon have their catalogue on line so search Husqvarna 345 and that will bring up all of the combinations of chains & bras that were available that fit
Then pick which you want
Thinner gauges will cut faster and be a lot lighter but wear faster
So the best combinations are usually the smallest pitch with the biggest gauge
