Husky Riding Mower Problem

Engine dies when engage clutch for mower blades. Removed clutch, cleaned, it operaties freely. Replaced spark plug and air filter as routine maintenance. Any ideas? Not sure where to go next. Fuel or electrical?

We can often determine if the culprit is fuel or electrical by temporarily disconnecting the ground (kill) wire located on the engine. This removes all safety switches from the circuit so be careful.
