Went thru history of homelite carb problems. Have a WT 469 carb on blower. Rebuilt with carb kit, hundred times, and it may start up for second, then starts to pour gas thru aircleaner. can not find a replacement carb. is there a zama or some other kind of carb that can be used to get blower going? thankyou in advance.

A blocked exhaust that has popped the crankcase seals or blown the single piston ring will cause this exact problem
SO you will need to do a pressure & vacuum test on the engine
Some of these cheaper engines with 1/2 cranks also have a reed valve on the intake.
If they do not fully close it will also blow fuel back through the carb on crankcase compression cycle.
