Delivered cost of actual battery about the same price as sale price BEFORE shipping from others.

I've used the MightyMax or similar ATV/Motorcycle AGM batteries for years for all my small engine applications. The Lawn and Garden lead acid batteries I found to be mostly worthless and very short lived, and more expensive. The ATV batteries work great, and last so much longer, since they are more rugged for the bouncing around. They will usually be physically smaller, so I just use some packing foam, or something similar, to take up the extra space and provide additional cushioning. Keep a battery maintainer on them, and they will last a very long time.

I have an electric start Honda HRX217K6HZA.
Evidently the original SHR3.6-12 12V-2.8Ah batteries are almost non existent!
Only thing I've found that will fit IN the battery box is one of these:

Less than 1/2 the Ah!
Anyone know if this will start it or have another suggestion?
Bought it as 67yo with 2 bad rotator cuffs but enjoy yard work and exercise!

What are the dimensions of the battery box, in my opinion you do not want to cut the Ahr

take battery to a battery rebuilder like interstate they might be able to rebuild it or already have you can get
