Hey all..

I have been having a hard time trying to find a chute plug...or mulching kit....for my Snapper Pro 50XT zero turn.
Anyone have any leads as to where I can purchase one?
I understand that my Snapper dealer may be able to get one, but they are a little higher priced in their products, so I would like to look online to see if I can find anything else a little cheaper.

I just really need the plug, but I will consider purchasing the kit if I need to.

Thanks all!

Unfortunately, I think Snapper discontinued them. :frown:

Not sure why when they still sell the same model mower.

Just hoping that someone else out there may have a kit kicking around that they may want to get rid of...

UPDATE:

I did find one that seems that it may work...

Simplicity 1696421YP.

I decided to search for Simplicity since it is the same at Snapper.

And no matter where I look, they all seem to be $239.

Pretty steep for what you get in my opinion, but hey, as long as it does it's job....

A couple of short lengths of wide steel strip. a drill , a file & 4 cup headed bolts.
If you want to remove it easily use wing nuts with a thick O ring under them to stop them vibrating off.
