Even thru we are both English speaking I had to look up the word brolly (umbrella?) Being on a honeymoon I am sure her new husband and her will have a good time no matter where they go. They are renting a car and her new husband to be is a poor driver so I sure hope they don't get in trouble driving on the wrong side of the road.

Michael........just can't wait!!!! Love the machine....Love the lawn....put them together....hate them!!!

I guess what I really really want and what's out there at the right price...just isn't about......having said that...flat lawns would be a gift from above!!

Well....either or a lottery win would suffice :) or what do YOU have tucked away you are keeping secret????? A 3 hour boat ride to visit that wonderful place could be a temptation :licking:

Hi Michael

Ahhhhhh the Black Stuff......poured with a loving hand and let stood to relax upon the bar, a Colleen with fair hand creating that artistic shamrock upon the settled head...... the Paddy's, Jamesons, Tulamore Dew, Bushmills..... And Shakespear said "To Dream" and all that.... He knew NOTHING!!

Where was I?..... oh yes.... Mowers... I have recently bought a Bolens BL60ME...but I may have bought in haste..... Ours in on a hill and whilst we are relatively flat, there are some areas of the lawn which are quite steep...especially the front and I suspect that I may end up with the mower on top of me and not vice versa!! Not actually got the Bolens on it as yet...even have to pick up the Qualcast and stick it on the lawn... I'm too OLD to obtain a Soprano voice!!

I've a Qualcast Classic 43S as well but whilst just not big enough (recently moved) I do prefer a cylinder...but that's when I get the Moss field right!!!

The saga goes on....I wished I'd have written it all down.... Auntie (BBC) would have paid at least fifty quid for it!. Thats just about enough for a night on the Black Nectar..

Indeed.....so hard to pick that "Perfect mower"....I recently sold on my husky 42" cut with a briggs 18.5HP motor.....there is less grass now with some adjustment to garden etc so it was all twisting and turning on the ride on....very hard on the grass so had to go.....I bought a Mcculloch as seen in the pic, OK takes me an hour to do lawn now but I cant fault it...even at this time of year it mulches with style!....admittedly I bought it for its "Mad Max" looks over and what I should have bought is this zero turn

Tee Hee...... remember the story of the old guy who chased the young girls but couldn't remember to do with them when he caught them?? Well when I get on the floor to pick something up, I look round to see if there's anything else there whilst I'm at it!!

Mmmmm...interesting... That Titan look a decent bit of kit...

I have two comments:

Where are they, who are they and what's the secret.. I have this phobia of dealing with companies that cannot supply an address and dealers with just a mobile number.

I've been in business and frankly, what have you got to hide?. You have a very quick nibble at the worm and you have to hook the fish or it's gone. Installing all the confidence you can...gets the sale.

As with the Qualcast....one walk down the lawn, even on the highest cut....the grass box is full. The Titan's taking a large cut and a small catcher that would weigh a bit with wet grass in.... "SO cut dry grass then I hear you say!!"... WHEN's that then????? I reply!! Then it's 2 miles to mow the lawn and three miles to empty the box!!!

Apologies for my cynicism, oh and exaggerating !!! No wheres Aladdin gone with that lamp?????

With our beautiful damp climate one must be on one's toes....It is not possible always but since I bought the Mcculloch I used the box once on the first cut of the year and have being mulching since...this whole issue of where and having to empty the box doesnt sit well with me :) .....easy said with a manageable garden I guess...that zero turn has a Kohler engine which a good thing although now made in that place that makes everything...

80 lt bag....not too shabby....47Kg is quite heavy though combined with full box!....rear wheel drive which is good....my only concern was the parts for that rear drive assembly...other than that its a fine machine and being a Zero and self propelled it would certainly compensate for any extra weight.

Yes, I saw that rear drive and thought "Champion" and I don't mean the wonder horse!! Dreadful things..
