Gravley ZT 2352

New to the forum here and have a question on my Gravley ZT2352. I am not sure what you would call this but in the front where the front beam that holds the wheels and bolts on to the frame mine has a gap and one side is wider than the other. So my question should these me tighten flush or do you need the space so the beam that holds the wheels can move up and down? I have attached some photos thanks

Depends which option you going to use for the front axle. One is stationary and the other it pivots.

Because this is a cheap mower the entire cross member is way too small
Thus the bush part 9 wears rapidly even if it gets lubricated regularly, which only good techs do ( and there are not many of us )
Then the stabilizer bolts , part 10 both limit the up & down movement and the for & aft movement
If one gets loose or falls out then that will allow too much movement fore & aft
One of the local makers used almost the identical system on their LT's

So if I understand you right one way is to bolt them flush and the other way is to bolt it so it can pivot?
