First off, Hello to all. First post here. So thank you in advance for the help I may receive.
I have a Husqvarna mower GTH27V52LS with a Briggs 44q777 engine.
I lost the linkage that goes from the governor to the butterflies on the front side of the carb. I have ordered what I thought was it, but the one I keep receiving is too long. My question is does anyone know the length of that linkage itself. My idea is to use one that I got that is wrong and cut it to length. All the bends appear correct. Any help or ideas are appreciated. If I need to post a pic of location Ill do that. Cant right now. Thanks

When you order the linkage you need to use the entire engine number
So it should be 44Q777-1234
The 1234 is very important because that is where the different throttle controls will code to
So to give you the correct answer , assuming that the engine belongs to that mower we really need the 1234 bit and the -?? won't hurt either
Plus the serial number, which B & S call the "date code" in their parts books because if they changed the throttle linkage length it will be as of date code yymmddxy
