Looks to be a Hayter Hawk. You can decode the year of manufacture from the Briggs and Stratton engine model and serial number. Looks to be very old. The front roller has been removed. Here is a couple pics that may be helpful to you I found.

How wide is the cut on that mower? It looks so tiny!!
i think the mate that said he had it his dad used it on church yards and round graves he had it in an out building and is very well used poss passed it usefulness but i will try just to make it start just as something to do
had a look it looks like no spark i did have i very small tingle off the ht lead when pulling the pull cord i had to fix this before i could try the engine
any ideas on how to get to the points i assume they are under the fly wheel?
