Going To Buy a used walk behind?

I used it on my Billy Goat, but it was a little different because there was no "power steering" so you had to muscle the mower around to turn it (so there was one less grip on the handles).

Don't kid yourself you muscle the belt drive around also.

I used the belt drive for a couple of seasons I found it to be more of a PITA than what it was worth. He would be better off with either the Exmark 30" or the Toro-Master 30" it would be cheaper and new and the difference in productivity be tween the 36" and the 30" is near nothing. JMO

No the 36 I used was ztr with hydros. I've never used a belt drive walk behind I would rather not...I've used the belt drive on my tractor and its hard enough.

One that I am going to look at next Saturday is a toro 37inch mower with the t style design seems to be simple so I do like all the opinions that you all where sharing :thumbsup:

Pay a little more for it and get a Hustler Trimstar. This thing is easy to drive, makes a Great cut, and is like riding a bike pretty much. Hands don't wear out like a lot of the mowers I've seen and used.

I haven had to on the one I bought it moves by it self no help
The only muscle I fell that I use is when I back up witht the velkie on the have to turn it with my legs but other then that it dose great.:thumbsup:
