I am new to the forum. I find that I have problems with small engines because I keep them so long. I always try to fix them before I purchase a replacement.
I am looking forward to helping other people that have a problem that I have already solved or someone giving me an answer to a problem that I can't figure out.

I have : Bolens 140 Hydro ST 14hp V-Twin briggs & strat
1999 Arctic Cat 300 4X4
Two OLD push mowers - one 5hp Honda - one 5.5hp Briggs
25hp Yamaha (1986?) outboard
homebuilt 3500 watt generator (was shaft mounted but I converted it to belt drive)
Shindiawa 250 trimmer (1986?)

1999 Artic Cat 300 4X4, This pass summer I had to rewire one that the main harness burned up and OH the carburetor for a customer. Still could buy any parts I needed for it. like a air cleaner housing. Nice machine.

I run 2 x 1966 ride ons, all mechanical with 700 series gearboxes.
I loan out mowers from 1969 to 1985 to customers during the mid season crush because they can not kill them with a stick.
My sprayer has a 1951 BSA stationary engine,
The garden water pump uses a 1952 BSA engine
The fire pump around the workshop has a 1955 BSA powering it.
My fire trailer uses a 1948 BSA engine.
Nothing wrong with old motors.
Older engines were designed to run forever.
