Storing dry will go a long way to preventing restart problems.
However it still does not stop water condensing overnight unless the machine is under a blanket.
A little surface dampness will cause galvanic corrosion which can block off fuel & air passages.
Usually you would be good for several seasons but it all depends upon your micro climate.
My tools will rust hanging on the wall if I don't run the heater in the workshop overnight during winter.
