I thought of going to my dealer, but wouldn't that just be the Toro version of Gator blades? Or would he sell actual Oregon Gator Blades?

Aaron

The toro gator blade copy's will work the same way they are not as thick or as heavy.
Not sure if your dealer would have the gator blades

(( cowboy up and get over it ))

You can get the Oregon Gator Blades at you dealer to fit your machine, I get them for my Toro and Z Force when I purchase my blades. I seriously doubt you could get the copy's for your mower. They use the Toro Atomic Blades on there push mowers. That's what comes on there Turf-Master and there other commercial mowers.

I'd be careful about the mulch kit as the Gator blades may not work with the kit. The Gator blades throw your grass up in the deck and at 18000 Bts it gets cut like 4 times before it's discharged. The problem with the kit is if the grass is cut fine and can't be discharged it will plug up the deck cause it's wet.

Yep, my plan is "Gravely mulch kit with Gravely mulch blades"......OR......Gator blades without mulch kit. I always try my best to mow late afternoon after the sun has dried the grass well and when there hasn't been any rain in at least 48 hours(this July/August has been unseasonably mild/wet for TN so that hasn't always been possible). I'll probably remove the mulch kit at the end of the season and try the Gator blades without it starting next spring. During the middle of the growing season, I'll probably re-install the the mulch kit/blades unless the Gator blades are handling the excessive grass clippings. I picked up the Gravely mulch kit at my dealer this morning and I must say for 3 blades and 3 mulch baffles it sure is "heavy"(50-75lbs). The baffles look like they are 7gauge, just like the deck. My wife said she felt the car "drop" when the parts guy put the box in the trunk....I told her "Gravely don't make lightweight stuff":0)
Another user, who had used the Gravely mulch kit said he was VERY pleased with it's performance. Hope I am too. Now......to convince the wife I REALLY need the hex striper kit:0)
