Front Wheel Bearings

Hi All.... Model: Husqvarva YTH24V48 SerialNumber: 012315A046880 Proudct: 960450046
My front wheels have a lot of play in them so I am looking to replace the plastic bushings with flange bearings. I took off a wheel to measure And I found the following:
Spindle: 3/4 inch Bushing OD 1 inch. Hole ID in rim 1 Inch. Being plastic, the bearings probably wore out after the first season thus the wobble in the wheels. I am looking to replace them with flanged ball bearings but every kit I can find says the OD of the bearings is 1 3/8. (Amazon). Some of the kits have pictures showing the OD measurement as 1 3/8 . Too big for the hole in my rim. Are they measuring the OD of the bearing or the flange? I got the part number from Parts Tree which shows the plastic bushing as part number 532124959 superseded to 532009040. When I search the part numbers on Amazon all these bearing kits come up showing the bearing size as 1 3/8. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks, Matt.
Side note on the Husqvarna, Neighbor gave it to me with a rod thru the crank case (Briggs). Neighbor next door gave me a Cub Cadet with blown head gaskets and magnets off the fly Wheel stuck to the stator. (Kohler). simple swap. It was a good winter project. Even came with a bagger.
 
Husqvarna has not use plastic bushings. It sound more like someone put MTD rims on the mower. The 9040H bushing are metal.

Post a couple pictures of the current bushings.

IF they are indeed MTD rims you are stuck with the plastic or bronze bushings. And the bronze ones are not cheap.

If they are MTD which won't surprise me, I think I will need part numbers. Thanks, Matt.

At one time the 9040H were plastic. About 20 some years ago they were but later superceded to metal with the same part number

Those are MTD which are about useless for actually allowing grease to reach the other bearing in the hub.

Seems like it was a case of they were metal and then went to plastic for a period and then back to metal. I remember using and seeing both back around 20+ years ago Early 2000's
 
if they are kept clean, the plastic will wear out and not the spindle. If they get dirty, the plastic will embed sand and grit, then wear the spindle. If solid metal ones are installed, they will wear both the bearing and spindle. If roller or ball bearing ones are available, use those. They too will wear the spindle over time.
