I had the Donaldson on my 2012 Toro Titan. Either it lasted 1/2 mowing session or 1 1/2. Regardless, my engine blew after 12 years of meticulous care. I assume an internal just fatigued and punched out taking it's buddies with it. I replaced the mower with a new Gravely ZT - HD 52 and installed another Donaldson on the same series Kawasaki (FR691V). It'll be nice to have that system from day 1. I believe both systems are adequate, however, from what I see from others, The Donaldson requires much less maintenance than the factory system under like conditions.
I have had this upgrade for several years. After I ruined my engine with that cheap crap the Raptore comes with.
Love the filter indicator too. No guessing just watch the color bar. This picture has the plug where the filter gauge goes. I added it afterwards.
There is no comparison looking at the filter media plus the cyclonic action of the air spins most of the dirt out.
Stock stuff on the left. Watch that the filter is glued all the way around to the black plastic base part. A lot of the import ones have gaps that let unfiltered air in.

Had my local Gravely dealer search for 1 for my (2017) Kohler KT 745-747cc engine. Says Donaldson doesn't make one for that.......
You can update to the KT 745 Pro air cleaner without too much trouble. This will give you better filtration.
