I have not checked yet. I asked the guy again and he stills says its a 13 model. I got him down to 3900 for it, but he won't budge any more. Would that be a good deal. The thing looks brand new in the pictures.
$4k was a fair price to me. Any price you get under that is gravy. It's worth what you think it's worth. As I said before, you won't find a new mower of that quality for anywhere near that price. Take a close look at everything before you buy. You will be able to tell for yourself if it's a 2012 or a 2013. It doesn't really matter anyway. I was just curious to know if ferris did make a 2013 is500.

is 4k a good deal on a 2013 ferris 500 52 inch deck with 30 hours on it? Or should I just look at something new in that range? Like a gravely, scag,toro,snapper,hustler, or a husky. I only mow a little over 2 acres, but I want the best bang for my buck.
