I think that is the norm for lawn mower built after 2000 because the manufactures made the mixture very lean to comply with the EPA regulations. I have one engine the needs the choke on to start even when it is hot. My old 1979 lawn boy starts on the first pull.Do any of you guys have a preference on which mower to use?
I own two push mowers, and I usually use the one on the left, I think because I've had it for 3 years and it starts a hell of a lot easier than the one on the right. The one on the right only has about 7 hours on it and it still takes 3-4 pulls to get it to turn over.:smiley_aafz:
