My new blower thread got off on an interesting tangent about tools. How about a favorite other tools if there isn't one already?
My top 3:
Milwaukee 18v impact wrench
Hitachi pneumatic nail gun
gear wrenches :)

Hilti cordless impact gun, my multitude of dedicated pullers, etc, and...the piece of thin wire I use to pull gas lines in two cycle stuff. Saves hours of work!

Just got my handheld Goldcentury metal detector to check out my used lumber for nails and screws. It works so well I had to remove my watch to use it. It sure is going to save my planter and band saw blades.

I've still got a set of Craftsman sockets that I got for my birthday back in the 1960s.

Craftsman ratchets and sockets all sizes are deffinately my favorite hand tools, my favorite drill was my dewalt 18v drill I sold :( and my cheapy hf corded power tools angle grinder, 3 1/2 in cut off tool, corded drill and corded impact drill

Most of my other tools are cheap hf tools to but I usually end up destroying them. And when I do I buy the craftsman equivalent

I needed tools to make a living and a broken tool was worthless. I bought the best Snap-on. When I was very first starting I bought some craftsman tools but they just didn't hold up as well every day hard use.

This was a tough one for me as I love equipment and tools of all kinds.
I picked the one tool that has made biggest impact i am old enough to remember when they really started and how exspensive the first one was.
NAIL GUNS!

favourite tools are the most common used tools that can save time & effort, I guess my favourite tools are ones that I have made or modified using other favourite things like welders, grinders, lathes, ect....
Gear wrenches (unmodified) are my favourite hand tool, a bit pricey for a good set but well worth it in the long run!

I love the 6 in 1 screwdriver. Have at least 5 in different locations and boxes. 2 size Phillips 2 flatheads and 2 nut drivers. Easily my most used tool.

No there High-capacity XRP battery that supposedly has like 40% more run-time than the standard batteries. When they go bad I can replace them with the lithium ion battery style.

Ya I spent lots of money on craftsman wrenches with the ratcheting closed end and open end on the other side love them so much especially for working on cars where ratchets and sockets can be a tough fit
